About Daniel Mezick

I’m a teacher, consultant and author in the organizational-change space. With my books and workshops, I teach and coach executives in very specific ways to quickly and predictably get real and lasting results, by encouraging self-management (and employee engagement) at scale.

Because self-management is what actually scales, not your framework or method.

I advise decision-makers. Here’s a 2-minute testimonial from one of them, an executive responsible for leading a globally distributed, 900-person Global Engineering organization:

THE BOOKS:

I write on organization change. Here are the three books:

2012: The Culture Game describes 16 patterns of group interaction. The data upon which this book is based is harvested from over 12,000 hours of direct experience working with and observing high-performing teams worldwide. If your team uses any 3 of these 16 proven patterns at the same time, your results improve. The book describes in detail how your meetings are your a key point of leverage for creating real improvement. The tutorial and reference guide includes step-by-step instructions for socializing these ideas across your organization in service to genuine and lasting change. (Amazon link)

2015: The OpenSpace Agility Handbook introduces the concept of Enterprise Engagement Models. This book expands Chapter 21 of the The Culture Game book and introduces a proven and enterprise-scalable engagement model for digital transformation, based on a versatile all-hands meeting format called Open Space Technology. This engagement model immediately improves the results you are getting with your Agile and digital transformation efforts. This is the book that is alerting the entire Agile world to the fact that real change begins with creating sustained employee engagement. This step-by-step handbook shows how, and introduces the all-hands Open Space meeting format as a key tool for getting real results with enterprise-wide digital transformations. (Amazon link)

2018: INVITING LEADERSHIP: Invitation-Based Change™ in The New World of Work introduces the leadership tools of invitation-based change, leadership invitations and more.
